Can you tell me more about what I will learn?
The tutor training will cover topics such as student-centred learning, class dynamics and interaction. You will also develop and improve your communication, leadership, and organisational skills. In turn, this will improve your understanding and knowledge of other cultures.
As well as being guided to discover more about your own language, you will also learn the basics of at least one language that you do not know. This will help to raise your awareness of the needs of language learners.
What our tutors say
Just the fact that there were so many nationalities and mix of cultures during the training sessions created a whole environment that made me feel really part of a “global village”, learn about them, their culture and share with amazing people which maybe otherwise I would have not been able to interact in such a meaningful way.
I remember the little teaching experience I had when I first started - the lack of confidence would surely not help me become a wonderful tutor. However, I have been fortunate enough to take part in this incredible training for tutors that World Languages (Linguae Mundi) offers. It has been a fantastic opportunity so far and I am positive it will be a valuable asset and recommendation for any future jobs I plan on applying for. I have completely changed as a professional person and developed my interpersonal and work skills as well as cultural awareness greatly. I strongly believe that World Languages (Linguae Mundi) is a brilliant program for both students and tutors.
