Rebecca Crookes

Rebecca completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology with Forensic Psychology in 2012 at the University of Lincoln, followed by a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology at the same university in 2014. Though Rebecca has varied research interests within forensic psychology, much of her areas of focus lie within sexual offending. Being a research assistant on a project led to a Masters thesis exploring the role of Narrative Child Sexual Exploitation Material within child sexual offending, and Rebecca presented the findings from the original project at the NOTA Conference in September 2013. Since then, Rebecca joined Coventry University as a Research Assistant, working on various research projects in the Research Centre for Psychology, Behaviour and Achievement. Much of the research Rebecca works on focuses on sexual offending and violence and interpersonal aggression, with the hopes of completing a PhD by portfolio.
