The expansion in scale, scope and importance of information systems and infrastructure, coupled with increasingly active threat actors generate unprecedented pressures on individuals, organisations, and industries. Defence strategies are often reliant on an ability to acquire, interpret, and employ relevant information in order to anticipate malicious intent and capabilities. My research explores the role played by Knowledge Management Systems in addressing uncertainty and enabling adaptive decision making within Information Security Risk Management.
