MSc with Extended Professional Practice
All of our MSc courses offer our Extended Professional Practice (EPP) option. This gives you an opportunity to undertake a longer internship or project as part of your course.
Extended Professional Practice route
The MSc with EPP courses are delivered over 18 months instead of the usual 12 months. They incorporate either a paid or unpaid internship with a host organisation or a campus-based professional experience.
By taking this route, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- gain a deeper understanding of how businesses operate
- put into practice what you have learnt in the classroom
- gain invaluable experience to impress future employers
Arranging professional practice
You will arrange your own internship. Our Handshake app gives you access to a wide range of career resources and bookable services.
You can also use your own contacts, approach employers speculatively or search online for suitable internships.
It’s important to note that internships may be unpaid, subject to availability, competitive application, meeting visa requirements and additional costs, so plan your MSC with Extended Professional Practice with this in mind.
