What is Clearing and how does it work?

Clearing is the name given to a process operated by UCAS, designed to help you find a University course that still has places available.

You can use clearing if you:

  • applied after 30 June 2019
  • didn't receive any offers (or none you wanted to accept)
  • were not accepted by your Firm or Insurance choices

How to apply through Clearing

You can apply to study at Coventry University through Clearing if you’ve not met your University offer requirements, have declined your offers or you’ve simply not yet applied for a place. We call this Clearing, but you may also hear it referred to as Spot Admission.

Applying through Clearing is easy, and it’s open now.

Courses

Coventry

Our Coventry campus is located in the heart of the city centre, making it a vibrant and exciting place to live and study. Coventry is close to Birmingham and only an hour's train journey away from London.

London

Our London Campus is just minutes from the Stock Exchange, right in the heart of the City of London. So you can learn in the heart of one of the most successful business and financial centres in the world.

I like this course because I have a sandwich year, first of all, and then I have experience in London in my final year. So it’s two years where I can gain international experience. It’s really important in my field, in fashion, as it’s a very fast paced industry.
