Meet the team

Oliver Rossetti

With a passion for raising aspirations and promoting access to education, I have worked within Schools and Colleges liaison for over five years across institutions, helping deliver interactive and engaging careers education, information, advice and guidance.

As the Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer here at CU Coventry, I am one of the primary contacts for the delivery of talks, workshops and other engagement activities as well as partnerships and collaborations with the university. I also actively engage with the HE sector through networks such as HELOA, helping promote best practice within education.

In my past, I have worked for an international technology firm and also been a freelance film producer, notably working on a 72-hour feature film – a long three days! I am currently studying towards a Level 7 qualification in Career Guidance and in my free-time, I enjoy photography, travelling and cooking.

Ashleigh Williams

I work in the Schools and College’s team at CU Coventry as the Recruitment and Liaison Assistant. Prior to working at CUC, I have held various positions in HR, catering, retail and sport. Once leaving school, I took A-Levels and studied Law at University.

I enjoy expressing myself creatively in everything that I do and putting my own spin on things; I think it is really important to love what you do and be happy when you are doing it!

In my spare time I enjoy taking long drives through the country, spending time with friends and family and everything there is to do with food!

I am a firm believer in the rewards of education, particularly Higher Education. My time at university, studying geography, was arguably the best experience of my life. During this time I worked as a Student Ambassador and during that period I promoted the accessibility for all for university. This was a fulfilling experience and led to a desire to pursue a career within the Higher Education sector.

Now as a Recruitment and Liaison Assistant at CU Coventry I work with schools and colleges on a daily basis. I assist in the organising and supporting of a variety of events, ultimately in the hope of highlighting university as an accessible, affordable and beneficial option for all.

In my spare time I love to socialise and to travel with my friends or watch the football. I am a Stoke City fan much to my shame. I can also be found at any quiz night which involves a Game of Thrones theme.
