Overview

If you’re a nurse but would like to complete your studies to degree level while working, you can, with a Nursing Post Registration BSc.

Nursing is moving towards an all-graduate workforce, so this course is designed for nurses who’d like to top-up their diploma to a degree accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. The course is a mix of online and classroom based learning, which aims to enable the student to continue working while studying.

To achieve the BSc Hons aware the student must study 120 CATS, 40 CATS may be studied as option modules in both programmes.

The core programme is delivered by either blended or e-learning to enable the learner to continue working whilst studying.

This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which will could vary depending upon the module. Assessment methods include clinical OSCEs and a literature review.

The Coventry University Group assessment strategy ensures that our courses are fairly assessed and allows us to monitor student progression towards the achieving the intended learning outcomes. Assessments may include exams, individual assignments or group work elements.
