Our plans for September
We know coming to university is a big decision – and that decision has only been made bigger by the current COVID-19 situation. That's why we are guaranteeing a place in halls for Coventry University and CU Coventry applicants accepted through Clearing, and planning on delivering five hours of on-campus learning per student each week on most of our courses, across all of our locations.

Clearing Virtual Visits
We’re holding a number of virtual visits over Clearing with two Clearing Open Days and a series of daily drop-ins.
As a university, we are fully committed to delivering as much face-to-face teaching and the widest university experience as possible from September 2020, for both our new and returning students, including you if you join us through Clearing.
Based on current government guidelines, our campuses will reopen for teaching from the following dates, based on your location:
- Coventry University – 14 September 2020
- Coventry University London – 21 September 2020
- CU Coventry – 21 September 2020 (Block 1)
- CU Scarborough – 21 September 2020 (Block 1)
- CU London – 21 September 2020 (Block 1)
Subject to there being any changes in government advice, we will be offering a blend of on-campus learning and online learning to ensure you have a consistent and high-quality experience. We are currently working course by course to determine how timetables will look from September, and hope on most courses to provide at least five hours of on-campus timetabled learning per student each week during each semester/block, with the remainder delivered online. Keep up to date on developments in our planning.
We remain committed and prepared to deliver the TEF Gold-standard teaching for which we are known. To help us do this, we are introducing Aula, an interactive and engaging online learning environment, to all of our courses starting this September.
