This unique programme is delivered by the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE) at Coventry University.
With creativity and innovation at its heart, this is a programme for entrepreneurs - or potential entrepreneurs - of all ages and backgrounds, who want to create a new venture and to learn new skills.
Being enterprising is about solving problems, and, during this course, students will work in a team to solve a real problem and, following the ethos of ‘learning by doing’, will learn the skills to create a new venture. Creating a new venture can embrace different types of entrepreneurship (commercial, social, green, digital), which can add value in range of ways; it is up to each team to decide.
During the course, students will get the chance to gain real knowledge and practical expertise to support their new venture start-up. Students will benefit from gaining a better understanding of their own enterprise and entrepreneurial skills and will learn how to contribute effectively to a team.
Students will gain practical experience in initiating, implementing and pitching a new venture to experts and entrepreneur, as well as developing business management expertise.
Students will work in a group, but will also have the chance to work on their own ideas, with support from exerts and mentors. This course also supports students who have already started their companies but who wish to further improve their business.
