If you are a non-native speaker of English the most important aspect of a summer school is to develop your communication skills in both written and spoken English language. The English Language and British Culture course will equip you with these skills, and our experienced staff are there to guide, support and encourage you. They will deliver the programme through a range of interactive sessions, practical workshops and group exercises which will offer a welcoming environment so that you can learn and share your experiences with other participants from all around the world.
There will be ample time for critical reflection on the use of the English language in various settings. You will take part in our field trips, which will give you an opportunity to visit local areas of interest and to consolidate your knowledge. This will include a day-trip to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare as well. You will also take part in social and cultural visits so that you can explore you surroundings with new friends.
Please note: The prices listed relate only to applications made directly to the University and that the fees for applications made via agents or other third parties may be higher.
