This course will introduce students to dramatic ambient visual displays and public projections that are supported by productive, applicable research.
Students will create a display which will be projected onto a prominent city building. This work will be accompanied by a rationale, and a research folder. The course emphasis is on producing solutions which are arresting and provocative, integrating time-based sound, movement, and imagery.
Students will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and will be guided by experienced and dedicated members of staff who will support them throughout the design journey.
Sessions will be a mix of lecture-style presentations, discussions, and practical workshops.
