Are you creative and adaptable? Can you see the bigger picture? Would you benefit from enhancing your technical skills and understanding how the global humanitarian sector operates?This course explores how humanitarian organisations intervene in disasters around the world and builds you into a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, computer scientists and social scientists that can respond to humanitarian crises and/or foster community-led development in a culturally sensitive and sustainable way.

Coventry University is the founder of the UNESCO UNITWIN Network for Humanitarian Engineering and a pioneer in disaster management education and training. You will learn from our experts, visit some of our partners and benefit from the challenging, interactive sessions that we have developed to educate the next generation of humanitarian practitioners.

Entry Requirements 

As the programme is delivered in English, you will require a good level of English speaking, reading and writing skills. You must be aged 18 or above.
