Erasmus

The Centre for Global Engagement (CGE) gives students the opportunity to become more internationally aware and participate in activities such as the Year Abroad Programme either through Erasmus or further afield outside the EU otherwise they can go on shorter visits through the International Experience programme.

International projects

Online International Learning (OIL) projects allow collaboration between students internationally to share ideas, discuss course specific issues, explore cultural differences and encourage an intercultural dialog.

International experience

Overseas visits

Our students have had the opportunity to visit Glaxo Smith Kline and L’Oreal in Burgos, Spain. As well as the industrial visits, students also interacted with local students and undertake lecture sessions to gain a deeper understanding of culture.

We're proud to welcome internationally acclaimed speakers to our Faculty to enrich our students' experiences and career aspirations. Former speaker events include:

Global Researchers Programme

A variety of workshops and talks are held as part of the Global Researchers Programme (GRP) and the wider provision with the Postgraduate Research Support Unit (PGRSU). Capitalising on the wealth of diversity we have within are students on campus, PGR students are encouraged to discuss and present their own experiences in research, based upon their own academic background and culture. This sharing of information is highly valuable in terms of intercultural dialogue and develops networking skills across the board.
