Applied Psychology MSc

This programme is for students who have previously studied psychology and want to further their knowledge and understanding of an applied area of psychology. Students will study general psychology at an advanced level and specialise in their choice of, educational and child psychology, counselling and clinical psychology or forensic psychology.

Biomedical Science MSc

Biomedical scientists are key contributors to modern healthcare, including disease diagnosis, monitoring of therapy and research into disease mechanisms. This course offers postgraduate training in a selected biomedical science discipline, either Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science, Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology or Infection Science, together with opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in laboratory management and accreditation, plus modern developments such as genomics and stem cell technology.


Biotechnology MSc

This course is intended for life science graduates who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in biosciences with an emphasis on biotechnology. The science of biotechnology is also used to alter genetic information in animals, plants and microbes to improve them in some way that benefits people. 

Business and Organisational Psychology MSc

The course provides a sophisticated understanding of applying psychology in business settings, including understanding consumer behaviours, employee engagement and the impact of globalisation on organisational behaviours. The course is accredited by the Association of Business Psychology and  designed for both home and international students. The MSc Career Coaching programme has been designed to reflect the growing interest in career coaching by individuals seeking to manage their career development more effectively; and by organisations who want to develop the talent and resilience of their staff. This level of interest is reflected in the progression pathway for talent management that features in the National Occupation Standards (NOS) for Career Development set by the Career Development Institute (CDI).
