Postgraduate Degrees: How to Apply

No matter if you are from the UK or abroad, or want to study in Coventry or London, below you can find all the information you need to know to make applying simple and efficient.

UK Applicants: Coventry

UK applicants

To apply to study on a Postgraduate course (full-time or part-time) you should complete an online postgraduate application form.

Stay On, Go Further

If you are a final year undergraduate, or a Coventry graduate, you don’t have to complete the full application – just complete our fast track form and send it back to us at the details provided, online or otherwise.

What to include

If possible these should be submitted with an application form:

  • One current reference on official headed paper or from a professional email address (this can be a work or academic reference and must be signed and recently dated)
  • Copies of academic transcripts
  • Copies of degree/diploma certificates
  • Personal statement (at least 500 words)

If you are being sponsored by an employer you must provide a sponsor letter on official headed paper or complete and send in a fee authorisation form – this must be sent to our finance department.

It is important that you send this information to us as soon as possible, either as paper copies by mail, or as scanned and emailed documents.

You can apply through the following options and will receive an initial decision within two working days:

International London applicants

EU students - EU students applying for a postgraduate programme must fill out our application form and send it to the following email address, londoncampusuk.culc@coventry.ac.uk

Non-EU students - Non EU international students applying for any course should complete their application online. Just use our International Online Application Form to submit your application and upload the necessary supporting documents.

What to include

The International Office will need the following information in order to make a decision on your application:

  • All academic transcripts
  • Copies of degree/diploma certificates or work reference if employed
  • One academic reference
  • An English language test score
  • Your personal statement
  • Copy of your current passport

UK/EU Applicants: What Happens Next?

What happens once you have applied?

We will assess your application and if the application is complete, we will endeavour to respond with a decision within five working days. In the case of incomplete applications it will take longer to obtain a decision.

Any documents submitted that have been forged or altered will be automatically rejected.

Please see below for key dates you need to know for your entry point.
