Alison Day

Alison Day is a Senior Lecturer in Emergency Nursing and has a particular interest in emergency preparedness, resuscitation and trauma. She is currently studying for a PhD in Nursing at Warwick University (Royal College of Nursing Institute), examining the educational delivery of emergency preparedness training.

Alison is an active Advanced Life Support (ALS) instructor and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Instructor, an external examiner for the University of East Anglia (BSc (Hons) – Urgent Care) and an article reviewer for emergency nurse journal. Alison has worked and presented internationally.

  • Day, A. Oldroyd, C. Quinn, T & Godfrey, S. Knowledge Transfer Enterprise Grant. (KTEG) project (£6,000). Scoping the availability and state of readiness of cardiac acre equipment in general practice premises across Coventry & Warwickshire.
  • MSc Nursing – Emergency Preparedness Training – emergency and community nurses’ perceived needs.

Pete Gregory

Pete Gregory is a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Practice and has research interests in clinical aspects of Pre-hospital Emergency Care.

Pete is a member of the British Paramedic Association Research and Audit Committee and also the Faculty of Prehospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Carol Oldroyd

Carol Oldroyd is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing specialising in Cardiac Care, with a particular interest in ECG interpretation and resuscitation.

She is currently undertaking her dissertation as part of her MSc. in Nursing at Manchester University (Royal College of Nursing Institute). Carol is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) instructor for the Resuscitation Council (UK) and a reviewer for the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing. Carol has presented both locally and internationally.
