Improving passengers’ experience in public transport


On September 12th, members of the collaborative METPEX project will convene to discuss the passengers’ perspective in public transport: what are the real needs?

From survey results to policy change - the role of mobility in quality of life - viewpoints and feedback of public transport users.

Planning and rollout of accessible and human-centred public transport services in Europe. 

Insights on socio-economic and land use factors influencing accessibility to pubic transport. Indicators to evaluate traveler ‘s experience. Users involvement as a pre-condition for success. 

Offering accessible public transport service in practice – benefits, obstacles and solutions.

The main challenges for implementing the “whole journey” passenger approach in improving accessibility of public transport in Europe. Innovative ways and tools for the collection and evaluation of mobility patterns and users behavior in different European regions and transport systems.
