The Basic Stratified Sampling spreadsheet
is for experimenting with different stratified sampling strategies to see the gain in precision when
all strata have the same variability. The Further Stratified Sampling spreadsheet
is for experimenting with different
stratification sampling strategies to see the gain in precision when
strata may have differing variability. The Opinion Poll spreadsheet
is for comparing stratified sampling with
simple random, systematic and cluster sampling in an opinion poll
situation. The Further Opinion Poll spreadsheet is for experimenting
with quota sampling. The Batteries spreadsheet
is a simulation of a production line, allowing you to choose your own sampling strategy.
