Practice in Analysing AON networks

A spreadsheet has been programmed to provide computer-aided learning of activity-on-node diagram analysis.   This cannot be opened in an Internet browser.  Please right-click on the link and save the spreadsheet to disk, then open as normal in Excel.  As the spreadsheet loads you must select Enable Macros in order for the programming to be activated.

Each time you click on the button to start a new analysis, the network and durations change.  Then you can point at each node in turn and click to enter the required values, before identifying the critical path(s).  If you make mistakes, on-screen feedback will provide you with the correct answers.  You may practise analysing these networks until you are confident that you know how to do it correctly.

There is no need to print any of your results, but the facility is provided if you think this would be helpful to you.
