Drawing a complete network

Whichever type of network is drawn, there are three steps:

carry out a forward pass to calculate earliest times;

carry out a backward pass to calculate latest times;

identify critical paths - there may be more than one.

For an AON network the total float is easily calculated as the difference between the earliest and latest start (or finish) times.  As critical activities have a total float of zero, critical paths can then be identified.

Use the previous and next buttons to scroll through the analysis of the network below.
