AON Networks

In an AON network the activities are represented by rectangular nodes.  The rectangle can be sub-divided to show all the important information about the activity:

In the example below, activity G cannot start  until the project has been in progress for 11 months.  G takes 5 months to complete.  Because of slack later in the project, the start and finish times of G may be delayed by up to 2 months.
