Chinmay Pandit - MSc Automotive Engineering
Coventry is well known as the hometown of car manufacturing in the UK. Companies such as Jaguar and Rover are what attracted me to the City.
One of the best things about the course are the specialist professors who share their wealth of industry experience. This means that you get good class notes that are worth keeping for life. Coventry is an economical place to study in comparison to other UK cities. It offers real value for money. There’s also a big Indian community in Coventry so you can still get good Indian food and support.
As the president of the Indian Society we really focus on supporting Indian students on arrival and during their time here. We work closely with the international office during welcome week to settle students into the country and help to find accommodation and answer any questions. Our aim is to create a home from home.
Gaurav Gandecha - MSc Automotive Engineering
Coventry is an excellent place to study. I had an engineering degree but lacked experience; however the course modules are absolutely brilliant and give the exact technical expertise needed in the field. The University has a friendly atmosphere and the staff here never let me feel like I am away from home.
Overall, from my experience, I would recommend Coventry University as the best place to study. The modules included within the course develop individual skills and expertise. Also, the way the course has been structured allows a student sufficient time to find part-time work and manage their expenses within the UK.
Tim Schnieder - MSc Engineering Manufacturing Management
I moved from Germany to study a Masters Programme at Coventry University because of its excellent reputation and the support I received throughout my final undergraduate year. Coventry University puts a remarkable effort into its student support, so I never felt like a stranger here.
I will always have good memories when I look back at my time in Coventry. I also had the chance to work part-time for the university as an evening receptionist and assistant in the International office which provided me with some relevant work experience.
