Planning for the future of the Technology Park is on-going and is part of a ten-year process which continues to focus on the emerging needs of hi-growth companies.
The Park links with the University's strategy to develop applied research in its strongest faculties with the following projects either launched or under development:
2009/2010
- Site C: A development opportunity providing circa 20,000 sq ft of development land
2008/2009
- Health Design and Technology Institute: Innovation and enterprise for independent living. A new approach that brings together patients, healthcare professionals, designers, manufacturers and suppliers of the next generation of products and services - July 2009
- ACT0UK: The UK centre for construction management training using virtual reality stimulation technology - September 2009
2007/2008
- Design Hub: designed to encourage companies to compete on value rather than price by engaging with the product design process - May 2007
- Serious Games Institute: bringing together the latest computer games technology and changing approaches to learning and training - September 2007
- Institute for Creative Enterprise: encouraging enterprises in the performing and creative arts. - April 2008
