How to apply

We can help with your application

If you are having any problems with your application or simply have a question, don't hesitate to get in touch.

We’re really glad that you’re considering studying with CU. Below, you’ll find all you need to know to apply for a course.

Full-time UK undergraduate students apply through UCAS. Otherwise, you will need to apply to CU directly. International students will also require a Student Visa. Here’s a handy checklist of what you’ll need to know before you start:

Entry requirements

CU ensure that all applications are managed according to the nationally-agreed framework and appropriate standards. We aim to see your potential, and we know that not everyone’s potential is shown by their academic performance in their life so far. If you don’t meet the entry criteria shown, or need help working out what points you have, please get in touch. You’re an individual, and we’ll consider your application on an individual basis, taking into account other factors. Some courses will also require a DBS check.

We typically require these points. You can use the UCAS Tariff calculator to find out how your education history fits.

Qualification Tariff Points
Foundation Year 40 UCAS tariff points
Higher National Certificate (HNC) 64 UCAS tariff points
Higher National Diploma (HND) 80 UCAS tariff points
BA/BEng/BSc (Hons) degree 104 UCAS tariff points

Once your application is completed and sent, you are all done! UCAS will contact us and we will consider your offer.
