Payment Types

If you are a full-time or part-time student with a fixed number of modules for the academic year, you can pay in four different ways. When you enrol for your studies you must have your tuition fee funding arranged so make sure you start planning this early.

1. Payment in full

Debit or credit card
CU Coventry accepts payment in full by most major debit and credit cards (except American Express and Diner's card). You can pay in full by completing the online secure payment form as part of the enrolment process.

Online banking
You can also make your payment by bank transfer or internet transfer. CU Coventry's bank details are:

Bank: Barclays Bank
Account name: Coventry University College
Account number: 23026434
Sort code: 20-23-60
IBAN no: GB33 BARC 2023 6023 0264 34
Swift code: BARCGB22

Please quote your Student ID number as the payment reference so that we can identify it upon receipt. This can be found on your offer letter.

Send a cheque
Cheques should be made payable to Coventry University College. Please remember to write your full name and student ID number on the back of the cheque and send it to:

CU Coventry
Priory Street, Coventry, CV1 5FB

We cannot accept payments by cash.

2. Payment by your sponsor or employer

If a recognised sponsor or your employer has agreed to pay your tuition fees for you, we will invoice them when you enrol on to the course. In order to do this you must provide a letter at least 48 hours in advance of enrolment from your sponsor or employer with the following details:

  • the amount they intend to pay
  • their full billing address
  • any purchase order or reference number that needs to be quoted on the invoice

3. Payment by Instalments

If you would like to pay an agreed number of instalments using your debit or credit card you will need to sign up to this method of payment when you enrol on your course. We will then send you an email to confirm the dates and amounts of the instalments prior to the first collection. Instalment payments can be made using most major credit and debit cards, except for American Express, Diner's Card, Maestro and Solo.

If you are a full-time student the instalments will be spread throughout the academic year.

4. Tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England (SFE)

Full-time and part-time students are able to access a tuition fee loan from Student Finance England. We recommend that you apply early for SFE support to ensure that your funding is in place in time for the start of term.

Once your loan has been confirmed, SFE will send you a Financial Notification letter showing that you have been approved for a tuition fee loan for CU Coventry, along with any maintenance support that you can access. In many cases this funding will have been confirmed to us by SFE in advance of your enrolment, but please bring a copy of your letter with you to enrolment as proof that SFE will be paying your fees on your behalf.
