Entry Requirements

1. What are the entry requirements for each level of study? (Foundation Year, HNC, HND and Degree)


All courses require 5 GCSE’s at A-C including Maths and English. In addition to this, we also require:

Foundation:

40 UCAS tariff points
1 year full time (4 learning blocks)

HNC: 

64 UCAS tariff points.
1 year full time (4 learning blocks)

HND:

80 UCAS tariff points.

2 years full time (8 learning blocks)

Degree:

104 UCAS tariff points
3 years full time (12 learning blocks)


2. I am an international student; can I study at CU Coventry?

CU Coventry accepts international students. For further information on how to apply and what you can study please visit our International Section.

3. What is level of English do you require?

For non UK students we require a minimum of 6.5 from ILETS or equivalent.

CU Coventry offer a Pre-Sessional English Language Programme. It is for European and International students holding a conditional offer for a degree programme at CU Coventry, for further information please visit our Pre-Sessional English Language section.


4. How many UCAS Tariff points does my qualification have?

To see if your qualification will earn you Tariff points, find the qualification on the UCAS Tariff tables. Then check the grade you have obtained, and note the number of points given for the level you have achieved.

Please note, not all qualifications will give Tariff points. Please speak to us to ensure if we are able to consider your particular qualification.
