HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Learning is assessed in a variety of methods to prepare you to study at university. These may include an extended essay, timed assessments under controlled conditions and report writing.
In order to achieve the Access to Higher Education Diploma, you must achieve 60 credits at level 3. The grades available will be Pass, Merit and Distinction.
Formal qualifications are not mandatory, instead a Numeracy and Literacy assessment will be needed. An interview will also be required so that our tutors are satisfied that you can benefit from the course and be able to cope with the future requirements of studying in higher education.
All students wishing to gain entry onto the access course should have a level 2 English equivalent certificate at the time of starting the course or should be willing to get one within the access academic year you have joined.

DURATION AND DELIVERY
This course is delivered over the course of one year. The programme currently runs from September to May. Please note, applications are now closed for this cohort. Our next cohort will run from November to June. Applications are open now.
Attendance is required from Monday to Thursday from 09.30 to 14.00.
CUC Ltd. provide High Quality level 3 Access courses only. Students are responsible for making their own arrangements regarding any level 2 Maths and English qualifications they might need for their progression after this course.
