Basically it means being able to work remotely off campus as long as you have an Internet connection and computing device available to you.
Whilst you may not have access to everything that you might have on campus (due to restrictions like licensing) it will provide most of the 'IT Basics'.
Remember - the service that you use remotely is dependant upon the kind of connection that you are using and that can vary depending upon where you are.
