David has undertaken hundreds of media interviews in recent years and is keen both to disseminate research findings and to contribute to on-going debates.
His blog at The Birmingham Post newspaper is widely read, with several blogs going on to form front page ‘splashes’ at the newspaper, most notably his recent blog on the case for government support for Jaguar Land Rover.
Industrial policy, economic development policy, policy towards transnational corporations and FDI, transition in Central and Eastern Europe, European integration and enlargement particularly with reference to EU Structural Funding and Regional Policy, structural change in the Japanese economy, economic freedom, the automotive industry.
