After you get a Clearing offer

Our top four tips on what to do if you have been offered a place with Coventry University through Clearing.

1

How to accept your Clearing place

Once you have received our email offering you a Clearing place, you will need to go onto UCAS Track (please do not call the university until you have checked your Track) and simply follow these steps:

  • Go to the ‘Your choices’ section of Track, click 'Add Clearing choice' and fill in the course details. This counts as you definitely accepting the offer.
  • Once we confirm your place it'll show as an acceptance on the choices page of Track.
  • Don't worry if Track takes a little while to update. You will have time to accept our offer, just make sure you do it before the deadline in your offer email.

2

How to sort out funding

Most full-time and part-time UK students can apply online for student finance. There are different finance bodies for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

New to student finance yet? Apply right away

Funding bodies will try to make sure you get some of your student finance as close as possible to the start of term, but the sooner you apply the better.

Already applied but changed uni due to Clearing?

You'll need to inform your funding body. You can normally do this by logging into your student finance account.

How to find accommodation

Finding accommodation with us is a breeze. Check out our accommodation guide that will give you all the information you need to make a decision. You can opt for student halls or private let - whatever floats your boat!
