This course is offered to give flexibility to students enabling you to develop specialist skills that will support a wide range of potential career paths in your chosen industry. Topics may be selected to suit both the student's and a company's requirements making this an ideal MSc degree for those seeking future employment and those currently employed in the engineering industry. The student must also satisfaactorily complete an individual project or an industry based project.

Entry Requirements

To enter this course you should have a first or second class honours degree in an appropriate discipline. However entry qualifications are flexible and applications are welcomed for mature candidates and those with industrial experience. Students whose first language is not English should have achieved a minimum English language standard of IELTS 6.5. Alternatively students may be admitted with IELTS 6.0 if they attend a compulsory five week pre-sessional English course, operated by Coventry University, before joining their master’s programme

Please note: we have a range of taught postgraduate awards to suit your needs, from Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma to a full Master's Degree (MA, MBA, MSc, LLM). In most cases you can decide to exit at Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma level, without carrying onto the full Master's qualification.
