About Event

In 2016, 45% of working days lost in the UK due to ill health were because of stress and UK businesses are losing up to 23 billion pounds each year through absenteeism and presenteeism.  Delegates will learn some techniques to help them energise and focus themselves and their teams during their busy work schedules, learn more about the health and wellbeing Charter, discover what “Mindfulness” really is and have the opportunity to take a mini health check with some of our Health and Life Sciences students.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to take a quick tour of the brand new Science and Health Building which offers state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and research and is a new modern multidisciplinary building that includes state-of-the-art healthcare simulation, research and ‘super-lab’ environments
