This short course provides you with the opportunity to explore branding from the perspective of professional designers, deconstructing real branding schemes and using industry-standard thinking and techniques to develop alternate approaches. You will study the intellectual dimensions of brand development, as well as visualisation skills, through a mixture of activities including taught sessions and studio workshops in which you will learn how to devise a realistic visual presence.

In the design studio you will translate a brand of your choice into several exploratory design concepts. Personal tutorials and the introduction of creative visualisation tools and techniques will support you in developing one concept further. Through critiques and digital artworking you will be able to refine your designs and develop a pitch of your finished branding scheme.
